Feeling Loved

Last week was my birthday. My husband was sweet enough to have flowers delivered to school along with his gift, and my mom got me a new, personalized Land's End teacher bag! On top of that, I got to spend a fun, cheap artsy weekend away with a good friend and some family, and the students were so cute.

I am feeling way loved in the bloggy world lately, too. First of all, I was honored with The Lovely Blog Award. I will have time to blog stalk TOMORROW and pass it on- promise!- but I'm at one of those points right now where my Google Reader has gotten to over 1000 posts (by far) and I'm a little scared to dive in until I have a few hours!

I've also been added to Second Grade Squad. If you haven't checked it out, it's a blog roll of 2nd grade blogs that constantly shows you recent updates. It's a great way to find new blogs in my grade level and I feel honored to be included!

My 2nd grade Spring measurement freebie for measuring in inches and centimeters was featured on  3-6 Free Resources. (It's an AMAZING new site for freebies that keeps you from having to sift through tons of K-1 stuff! Worth checking out for 2nd grade teachers, too!)

E is for Explore- one of my favorite sites for creative ideas put succinctly- tried out my free Magic Number sheet with her classroom. Check out what she had to say here.

Allblogtools.com also featured my tutorial on switching from a Google profile to a Blogger profile when you follow a blog. Cool- I will have to check them out when I have blog questions!

Thank you ALL!

Finally, I have reached 90 followers! I'm trying to work on a new freebie for when I reach 100, but I'd also LOVE to do a little giveaway, so if you are a bloggy friend that would consider donating one of your awesome products, please let me know at jenala87 [at] gmail.com.

Alrighty. One more name to drop, and that's Farley. I love how her Currently linky every month helps me get to know other bloggers.

Here's hoping that I feel decent enough to go to school tomorrow, and don't have to do last minute sub plans. (I should have probably written some tonight just in case, but come on- I hate putting energy into sub plans if I'm not sure I will even need them!)

I turned 25 two-ish weeks ago. I feel ya love. But, if it makes you feel better, we can go shopping for one of those motorised scooter thingies (tehehe) xx
